As editorial director, Margie plans and oversees strategy and operations for TechTarget's Data Center and Virtualization Media Group. She works closely with the editorial team to keep the many sites focused on the information needs of IT professionals. She has spent many years as a reporter, editor and columnist at various technology media companies. She holds BS and MA degrees from Boston University.

As Executive Editor, Ed Scannell is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the website, as well as editing and writing news, features and other technical stories. He also oversees the delivery of weekly newsletters and participates in the production of Virtual Trade Shows. Scannell also worked at TechTarget as Site Editor of SearchOracle.com. Before Tech Target Scannell was the Editor of Redmond, a monthly IT magazine and Web site, where he was responsible for running the editorial and production operations. He has also worked for 25 years at Computerworld and Infoworld as Editor at Large mainly covering enterprise class products and technologies from IBM and Microsoft.

Michelle Boisvert is the Senior Site Editor for SearchCloudComputing.com. Prior to joining the cloud team, she was senior managing editor of e-publications for the Data Center and Virtualization group. Before joining TechTarget in 2007, Michelle was managing editor for SMT magazine, a business-to-business publication serving the electronics assembly industry. Stuart J. Johnston has been covering technology with an IT emphasis for 25 years for IDG, CMP, Internet.com, and other major tech publishers. For eight years he wrote PC World’s “Bugs and Fixes” column, and has been bureau chief, senior editor, and senior correspondent for InfoWorld, Computerworld, and Information Week, among other publications. Stuart graduated from the University of Montana School of Journalism with a degree in news writing, and lives in the Seattle area.

Lauren Horwitz is the executive editor of the Data Center and Virtualization group at TechTarget. Horwitz joined the Data Center group following a two-year tenure at CIO Decisions magazine, where she also served as the managing editor and a contributing writer. Previously, Horwitz served as a senior editor at Cutter Consortium, an IT research firm, and an editor at the American Prospect, a political journal. In 2009, she received a Silver award from American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) and a min Best of the Web award. In 2007, her work won awards from the ASPBE as well.
