The Cloud Security Alliance snags a big name
CA has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the nonprofit industry consortium that has been puttering around putting together cloud computing security guidelines for some time. CA's hopping aboard may be a recognition by either the CSA or CA that cloud security is going to be just as big an issue in private cloud as in public.

newScale hops on vCloud Express, next stop private clouds
Enterprise management software maker newScale announced its IT service catalog software will now support VMware's vCloud APIs. The company recently launched its newest release, newScale 9, which added automated provisioning in addition to standardizing and cataloging the IT department's goodies for managers.
