Red Hat eases access to the cloud
The open source giant Red Hat Inc. has partnered with Amazon Web Services to facilitate user access to the cloud. Red Hat Cloud Access will enable Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) subscribers -- depending on their computing needs and scalability requirements -- to move subscriptions from the cloud and back with ease.

Lawson continues to backpedal on cloud
Less than two years after demeaning Salesforce.com, Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud computing in general, ERP software provider Lawson Software Inc. has announced its second cloud computing offering. The company's Internal Cloud Services extends the recent trend toward private cloud and suggests that, yes, Lawson has definitely finally bought into this whole "cloud" thing.
