Microsoft and Malaysia looking to partner
Steve Ballmer, head of Microsoft, had a two-day visit with the prime minister of Malaysia this week in an attempt to partner with the nation on cloud computing services.

The Asian country is one of Microsoft's key targets in its attempt to push cloud services on governments; Malaysia as a whole was recently made one of the 41 countries with access to Microsoft's full range of cloud products, including Azure.
Digital Fuel promotes cloud comparison
Business management software provider Digital Fuel's new service may help prospective cloud customers differentiate between the growing number of cloud computing services and the traditional IT options many enterprises still rely on.
The service, called IT Cloud Cost Management, compares the total cost of ownership and performance of cloud and non-cloud alternatives and vendors, along with providing industry benchmarks for reference purposes.
