Rackspace attempts to educate on cloud
Rackspace has launched NoMoreServers.com to teach users about "Computing as a Service", which it defines as hosting, cloud computing and SaaS. The company claims the Web site is not about pushing Rackspace services but promoting discussion on "the trend that will bring the end of in-house computing and the rise of the All Cloud Enterprise (ACE)."
DISA expands its cloud service
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) will expand its test-and-development cloud computing service, known as Rapid Access Computing Environment (RACE), to now host applications for users at facilities around the globe.
Cloud still hottest IT market
The recent IT Cloud Services Forecast from IDC indicates that although cloud spending is not meeting projections time-wise, the market should rise to 10% of all IT spending by 2013.
Salesforce.com and Cisco join forces
